As outlined in our Open Letter to WMS Sponsors and Affiliates, on Monday, March 8, 2010 at approximately 11:00 a.m. MST, we will re-enable the CCBill Original Affiliate System to each affiliate who was converted from it to WMS.
This process will allow you to access both the feature-rich WMS system, and the simplified, tried-and-true Original Affiliate System to manage the affiliate marketing portion of your business. In order to better clarify just what this re-enabling will mean to you, below is an overview of how it affects users.
No matter which of these scenarios may apply to you, it is a good practice to examine your payout and/or program settings to ensure accuracy.
For CCBill Original Affiliate System users that did not migrate to WMS:
Links: Your links will function as they always have.
Reports: Accessing and viewing reports will not change.
Payouts: Payouts will not change; you will still receive one check.
For CCBill Original Affiliate System users that did migrate to WMS:
You have the option of using the CCBill Original Affiliate System, WMS, or both.
Links: Any links you set up in the Original Affiliate System prior to migrating to WMS will function. Any links you set up in WMS after migrating will function. Any sales sent from either system’s links will continue to be credited. Unless otherwise notified by your program sponsors, there is no need to change your links.
Note: any links you set up, in either the Original Affiliate System or in WMS, will not stop working. Unless a sponsor changes program attributes, links and sales will continue to function in each system.
Reports: If you keep both the Original Affiliate System links and WMS links active, reports outlining the applicable transactions are available in either the Original Affiliate System or WMS, respectively.
Payouts: Payouts will not change; you will still receive one check.
Bonuses: If you are set up to receive a bonus for a program in the Original Affiliate System and a bonus for the same program in WMS, they will be calculated independently. They will no longer jointly reconcile.
For affiliate users that signed up to a WMS program after its conversion:
Links: Your links will function as they always have, unless you are otherwise notified by your program sponsor.
Reports: Accessing and viewing reports will not change.
Payouts: Payouts will not change; you will still receive one check.
